Evacuations in Philippines as typhoon strikes

Thousands of people are being urged to leave their homes on the Philippines east coast as super typhoon Nock-Ten makes landfall.

Dozens of ports have been closed, as officials warn of potentially deadly 2m (6.6ft) waves.
