Polar bear cub on first outing in Munich zoo

Polar bear mum Giovanna has taken her new cub on its first outing in Munich's animal park, Germany.

The cub, yet to be named, cautiously checked out the ground, drank water and even tried to bite a melon - to the delight of the viewing public.
